 in 2021 we already saw the release of quite a few superhero movies such as black widow and the eternals 

 But by the looks of it it seems like 2022 and 2023 will be just as eventful as 2021 was from the black panther sequel to the marvels here are some of the best upcoming superhero movies in 2022 and 2023

The batman;

this movie has been a long time coming 

and we couldn't wait to see the new version of batman in this movie robert patterson will put a spin on batman and is said to be even more brutal than the dark knight the new adaptation will find bruce wayne discovering corruption in gotham city during his second year of fighting crime however this corruption will connect to his own family the film will be diving into the detective aspect of the batman comics that haven't been explored in the films alongside pattison we'll see zoe kravitz as catwoman and jeffrey wright as commissioner gordon due to the many set packs on the release date that was scheduled for june 25th 2021 the movie was pushed to march 4th 2022

 Doctor strange in the 

multiverse of madness;

in 2016 doctor strange first premiered we didn't 

doubt that it was the start of a new franchise benedict cumberbatch's portrayal of doctor strange in avengers infinity war and end game earned him the huge success that allowed the mcu to set this movie up in their fourth phase however in this second solo adventure we won't see steven strange completely alone he'll be accompanied by wanda maximov who's portrayed by elizabeth olsen who's known to play a huge part in this movie since doctor strange had a huge part in the newest spider-man no we home the bar has been raised for this multiverse of madness the movie is set to premiere on may 6 2022 so only a few months left until we witnessed the madness but if i told you everything else that you don't already know you'd run from here in terror

 The flash;

this movie has been in the works for 

quite a while now and we're so excited that it's finally coming to the big

screen if you didn't know by now the 

flash is set to premiere on november 4th 2022 we know it seems so far away but we promise you that it'll be worth the wait ezra miller will reprise his role as the flash from justice league and the plot of the movie will find barry allen opening up the multiverse which will bring him into contact with michael keaton's batman and ben affleck's batman the theme seems to be multiverse with these movies but we can't complain since we'll get to see two of our favorite batmans reprising their roles among the rest of the cast we'll see sasha cali make her debut as supergirl and you change the past .

 Thor love and thunder thor;

thor has been a very loved character since 

the beginning of the mcu and was the first to get his fourth solo movie you'll get to see the adventures of the god of thunder in theaters on july the 8th 2022 so far we know that thor ragnarok's take away tt has returned to write and direct the love and thunder movie also we will see chris hemsworth reprising his legendary role of thor and

we'll see natalie portman making a 

comeback as jane foster who becomes the mcu's first female thor tessa thompson is set to portray the asgardian king valkyrie and as of 2020 christian bale has joined the cast as a villain which was later revealed to be gore the god butcher although the plot of this movie hasn't been revealed yet we're excited to see what kind of situation thor will be in this time i have no path i do have a ride though

Black panther wakanda forever;

black panther quickly became one of the 

biggest marvel movies of all time and it was only fair that it received a sequel however with the death of the main character and black panther himself chadwick boseman the sequel suffered a setback leaving the production up in the air later on it was revealed that the sequel will happen and that the role of chadwick will not be recast and that they won't use cgi to adam in the movie instead the sequel will be focused on wakanda and it'll explore every aspect of it from the people to its culture the movie is set to be released on november 11 2022 and is said that namor the submariner will join the black panther sequel and the mcu my son it is your time show me my respect and bow down

 Aquaman in the lost kingdom;

yet another sequel will be coming our 

way in 2022 and that is aquaman and the lost kingdom the first movie was the highest grossing movie of the dc eu topping out at over 1.1 billion dollars so when there was an option to make a sequel warner brothers immediately put the sequel in motion even though we had to wait a long time since the first movie was released we finally have a release date on december 16th 2022 yes it's a long time from now and we still don't have a trailer for the movie but at least it's happening right jason momoa will reprise his role as aquaman alongside nicole kidman and yahya abdulmatine ii the only way to stop this war is for you to take your rightful place as king number four shazam fury of the gods set to premiere on june 2nd 2023 this movie will be a sequel to shazam that was quite a fun movie to watch full of humor and warmth so we're super excited to see what will happen in this one zachary levi was more than excited to reprise his role and has announced that this one is far better than the first movie sadly

we have to wait until 2023 to see it 

we'll see henry gayden as a writer on the sequel and director david f sandberg is set to return the filming of this movie has already begun in may 2021 we don't yet have any details about the plot of the movie but we do expect it to be just as quirky as the first one was and hopefully we'll get to enjoy it just as much these goddesses come to our world are incredible number three the marvels when captain marvel first appeared on the big screen she managed to positively surprise us and earn massive success due to this success a sequel is in the making and brie larson is set to reprise her role as carol danvers the movie is set to start filming towards the end of 2022 so there's still so much time left until we get to see it the release date is set for february 17th 2023 so far it's hard to tell what the movie will be about but it's set to take place in the modern day it was later also retitled from captain marvel 2 to the marvels and in it we'll see carol join forces with monika rambu and kamala khan we need you

Ant-man and the wasp;

studios announced that peyton reed would return to direct a third ant-man movie following this news paul rudd and evangeline lilly were confirmed for the third movie of the franchise the movie is set to release on july 28 2023 and the filming has already begun in england the duo will once again be joined by michael douglas and michelle pfeiffer the shrinking heroes are set to face their biggest adventure yet with marvel villain kang the conqueror joining this movie and making an mcu debut as a writer for this movie we'll see rick and morty screenwriter jeff loveless we have high hopes for this movie and we do believe that even though we have to wait a long time it'll surprise us in the end

Guardians of the galaxy vol.3;

now the third volume of guardians of the
